Status: Closed

All councils are required to develop a Waste Management and Minimisation Plan (WMMP) every six years. The three Taranaki district councils are collaborating to develop the WMMPs 2023-2029 in four stages. You can find out more about the different stages here.

We are currently in the second stage, ‘Where do we want to be?’ This involves shaping our goals and visions for the next six years. Ultimately, we will have one vision and three goal statements. These will guide what we will do in next our Waste Management and Minimisation Plan (our actions).

We have developed a set of proposed visions and goals and we need your feedback. Complete the survey to have your say!

Remember, a vision is an aspirational outcome that is desired. A goal should be what we want to achieve in our WMMP.
