This project will fix a persistent flooding issue on the main lawn of Onaero Domain during rainfall.

The project includes:

Installing a pipeline and manholes to drain groundwater directly into the Onaero River.
Reshaping the lawn to improve drainage into the manholes.
Regrassing the entire lawn.

Project period: mid-April to mid-June 2023

Public access

The sealed car parking area off SH3 will be set aside for bach owners’ use during the project. If vehicle access to the baches is required, please contact NPDC on 06-759 6060 or enquiries@npdc.govt.nz.

Pedestrian access to all baches will remain open throughout the work, as will vehicle access to the beach.
