Lake Rotomanu is accessed via Clemow Road. You can take a short walk around the lake, stop for a picnic or continue on to the Te Rewa Rewa Bridge and the Coastal Walkway.

The lake is a popular recreational area for watersports including jetskiing, waterskiing, boating and kayaking.
