This policy outlines the Council mandate regarding the stewardship of its tree resource and to provide consistency in decision making on the management of trees and bush remnants on Council administered land.

Part one sets out principles, policies and objectives related to management of the district tree resource.

Part two is primarily a technical document to guide arboricultural activities related to Council trees.
