Whakapuāwai Taiao/NPDC Environmental and Planning Fees Scholarship

Applications are open for the NPDC scholarship to help local hapū and iwi members gain tertiary planning and environmental management qualifications. ​

Whakapuāwai Taiao/NPDC Environmental and Planning Fees Scholarship is open to descendants of qualifying iwi and hapū groups in the New Plymouth District.​

The scholarship will cover the fees for planning or environmental management qualifications at a whare wānanga, university or other tertiary education organisation.​

Applications must be received by 5pm on 7 February 2025 and can be submitted to NPDC Council Chambers in Liardet Street c/o Latesha Utiger, Mātauranga Taiao Rangapū, Iwi Relationships, or emailed to iwirelationships@npdc.govt.nz.​
