Liza

Squiggles

  • Female
  • Crossbreed
  • 11kgs
  • 4 to 5 months old
  • Squiggles is a typical playful young pup, she is socialising well with her pound friends.
  • She will need lots of attention, training, and exercise.
  • She has been around cats and finds them a bit scary. We don’t know what she is like with stock.

Misty

  • Female
  • Chocolate Lab cross
  • 15kgs
  • Approx 1 year old
  • Misty has a very gentle friendly nature, typical of her breeding.
  • She gets on well with other dogs. We don’t know what she is like with cats or stock.
  • Misty will need exercise and lots of love.

Kimchi

  • Female
  • 8-10 weeks old
  • Approx 6kg
  • Crossbreed
  • Very calm and quiet, extremely sweet and cuddly. Shy at first but warms up very quickly. Very well behaved for a young pup.
  • She will likely be a big dog and will require plenty of training and exercise.

Dexter

  • Male
  • 2½ years old
  • Huntaway x Whippet
  • Approx 29kg
  • Dexter is a super friendly lovely boy that has lots of energy. Gets along very well with other pound dogs.
  • Will require plenty of exercise due to breed and age.

Piper

  • Female
  • Labrador cross
  • Approx 1-2 years old
  • Approx 30kg
  • Super playful sweet girl. Loves her humans and gets along well with other pound dogs. She knows some basic commands.
  • Will require plenty of exercise and love.

How to adopt

Adoption cost: $283 which includes desexing, registration and microchipping.

To enquire please ring New Plymouth District Council on 06 759 6060 and ask for Animal Control. An adoption form will need to be completed to assess eligibility and suitability of new owners.
