  • Theo is a sweet, affectionate young boy with a heart full of love just waiting to shine. He can be a little timid when he first meets new people, but he’s the kind of dog who will blossom quickly with a bit of patience and kindness. Once he trusts you, he’s incredibly cuddly and loyal — the kind of dog who will quietly lean into you for reassurance or follow you from room to room.
  • Theo has a wonderfully playful, energetic side! He absolutely loves to play with other dogs and would thrive in a home with another friendly, playful canine companion. Watching him zoom around or bounce after a toy is sure to brighten your day.
  • Theo is the whole package: gentle, sweet, fun, and full of potential. With a loving home to help him continue building confidence, this boy will become a truly exceptional companion.

Brittany

  • Female
  • Crossbreed
  • Approximately 2 years old
  • This precious girl came into our care after being removed from a severely neglectful situation When she first arrived, she was frightened, confused, and unsure of the world around her. Over the past few weeks, with consistent routines, gentle reassurance, and plenty of patience, she has begun to truly come out of her shell.
  • She is now a loving, gentle girl who seeks connection and enjoys being close to the people she trusts. Her confidence continues to grow each day, and she’s beginning to explore play, new experiences, and the simple joys she missed out on before.
  • She is looking for a special adopter — someone understanding, patient, and ready to guide her as she continues her journey. A home filled with love, routine, and positive experiences will help her flourish into the happy, confident dog she is meant to be. With the right person by her side, she will make a loyal, grateful, and deeply loving companion.
  • We are unsure how Brittany is with cats or stock.

How to adopt

Adoption costs:

  • Dogs under eight years old: $311
  • Dogs over eight years old: $152

This fee includes desexing, registration and microchipping.

To enquire please ring New Plymouth District Council on 06-759 6060 and ask for Animal Control. An adoption form will need to be completed to assess eligibility and suitability of new owners.
