Request for Temporary Road Closure: Inglewood Christmas Parade

Lions Club of Inglewood Inc has Inglewood requested the closure of the following roads to conduct the annual Christmas Parade.

Date and period of closure: from 11am to 2pm on Saturday 12 December.

Roads to be closed:

·       Matai Street from Brookes to Rata streets.

·       Rata Street from Rimu to Brown streets.

·       Kelly Street from Brown to Matai streets.

·       Richmond Street from Rata to Carrington streets.

·       Cutfield Street from Brookes to Carrington streets.

The application is being considered under the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, submissions to the closure should reach NPDC by 4pm on Wednesday 2 September.

Submissions must be made on the road
closure forms, which is available online
at npdc.govt.nz/HaveYourSay or by contacting
the Council on 06-759 6060 or enquiries@npdc.govt.nz.

Emergency services will have unrestricted access at all times.

During the proposed road closure, an approved traffic management plan will provide for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the roads.
