Temporary Road Closure Bell Block Christmas Parade

In accordance with the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic to enable the Bell Block Lions Club to conduct the Bell Block Christmas Parade.

Date and period of closure: 12pm to 3pm on Saturday 6 December 2025.

Roads to be closed:

·        Murray Street from Chesney to Nugent Streets.

·        Nugent Street to the roundabout.

·        Wynyard Street to Chesney Street.

·        Bell Block Court.

Emergency vehicles will have unrestricted access at all times.

The roads may be reopened at an earlier time as decided by the organisers upon removal of all road closure signs and barriers at the venue. The roads will then be open to normal vehicle traffic and normal traffic regulations will apply.

It is an offence under the above regulations to drive on the closed roads during the period outlined above, unless authorised to do so by the event organiser.

In all other situations requiring the use of the roads, contact must be made with the traffic management coordinators on-site, on the day. Alternative routes will be available and signposted
