Discoloured water in Inglewood

News
PUBLISHED: 19 JAN 2025

We are aware that some residents in Inglewood are experiencing discoloured drinking water, caused by sediment being stirred up in pipes due to a large amount of water being used last night by emergency services.

We apologise for any inconvenience this is causing - a water tanker is located at the railway yards and people are asked to bring their own containers for filling.

Inglewood’s water is treated before it leaves the plant. But as a precaution we suggest you don't drink discoloured water until it is clear and suggest people affected run their outside taps to see if it clears, if this does not work please wait an hour and then try again.
