Fixing our plumbing

We've been underinvesting in our water networks for many years. To avoid more frequent water outages and sewage overflows we need to get on top of it.

But how much should we invest, and how should we pay for it? Should we be trying to save more water? And are water meters the right choice to help us do that?

Greening our place

Should we continue with our plans to extend the Coastal Walkway from Bell Block to Waitara and further develop the Taranaki Traverse, Maunga to Moana?

Paying it forward

Should we contribute about $40million to build a multipurpose event, lifestyle and sporting hub with ongoing operating costs also needing to be factored in?

Your rates

Tell us what you think about a proposed 12% rates hike in the first year and then and average rates bill of about a 6% increase for the next 9 years.
