We're proposing changes to bus stops to align with Taranaki Regional Council's (TRC) updated bus routes, launching April 2026. Find out more what stops are proposed to change.
Taranaki Regional Council is gearing up for the first stage of improvements to the region’s bus network, set to roll out in April 2026 as part of its long-term plan to make public transport in Taranaki simpler, more reliable and better connected.
As a result of these changes, NPDC, which is responsible for providing and maintaining bus stops, has reviewed the location of bus stops in our district.
It means some stops will be removed, relocated or new ones installed.
If you have any questions or comments, get these to us by 23 January 2026.
Your feedback will help inform a report to Mayor and Councillors, to make a final decision.
