Today’s kerbside collection in the Vogeltown and Westown areas of New Plymouth is delayed due to collectors dealing with bins that have overturned in today’s wind gusts.

Drivers are having to stand the bins up before the truck can collect them, which is taking extra time. If your bin hasn’t been emptied by 6pm please bring it in, then take it to the kerbside before 7am on Saturday for collection.

If your bin hasn’t been emptied by the end of the weekend, please call NPDC on Monday on 06-759 6060.

NPDC has arranged for another contractor to pick up spilled litter in the collection area today and tomorrow.
