Please don’t swim or gather food at Fitzroy Beach.

Testing of the water at the beach by Taranaki Regional Council on 9 December returned elevated levels of the potentially-harmful bacteria.

We’re sorry this will inconvenience people hoping to spend the weekend at Fitzroy Beach.

We have Justices of the Peace who are available at set days and times at Puke Ariki, and at Bell Block, Ōākura and Inglewood community libraries.

Where are JP services available?

They are not available at New Plymouth District Council offices. They are available at some of our libraries and Puke Ariki, the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) and the New Plymouth courthouse. Use the links below to for times and locations.
