The learn to swim programme uses a continuous enrolment system. That means you or your child stays enrolled until you cancel the enrolment. There is no need to rebook at the end of each of term. It also means you can sign up at any time.
If you swam with us in term 1 you will have received an email offering you a place in our term 3 courses. Follow the instructions in the email to complete your registration.
If you did not swim with us in term 1 you can enrol online at any time. Please note most classes require an assessment before a student can be placed into a class. The exceptions are waterbabies, toddlers, beginner preschool and preschool. You can book an assessment by contacting the Swim School Enrol now.
In most cases payment for swimming lessons is made by direct debit. You will be able to setup and manage your direct debit through your online account. Direct debits can be set up from your bank account or by credit card. Please note you will be charged a dishonour fee if there are insufficient funds to take the payment.
Direct debits are charged fortnightly during term time. No direct debits are charged during school holidays, if your lesson falls on a public holiday or if we cancel a lesson.
Your enrolment and the direct debit will continue until you withdraw from the course.
For more information see our Terms and Conditions and Prices.
There is still an option to pay upfront for swimming lessons for a term. If you would like to enrol for one term you will need to come into the Todd Energy Aquatic Centre and sign up and pay in person.
If you are a direct debit customer you can withdraw from a course at any time. You must give the Todd Energy Aquatic Centre at least 15 days’ notice of your intention to withdraw from the course. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information.
All enrolled students are entitled to one make up lesson per term. You can report an absence and book a make-up lesson online.
Students’ progress is assessed by their swimming instructor throughout the term. You can view progress through your online account.
Once a student is ready to progress to the next level you will receive an email advising you of their achievement. We will place them in a new class. If the time and day are not suitable you will be able to change this online or you can contact us to do it for you.
All certificates will now be stored in your online account for you to download if you wish. You can also request a printed copy from the Swim School.
By creating an online account, you can enrol in learn to swim lessons, change the day and time of lessons, manage your details, report an absence and track progress.
Please arrive a few minutes early for your first lesson so we can give you a membership card and show you where your lesson will be held. Your membership card will allow you to tag in the next time you come for your lesson.
