Have you ever wondered where our wastewater, like toilet and washing machine water, goes? Or how does water get to our taps? Have you ever thought about water usage? Do you think your students would enjoy some hands on activities?

Educational resources and programmes are offered to schools and community groups in New Plymouth District to learn about water. Your students could take part in a range of sessions about drinking water, wastewater and stormwater in your local environment.

This classroom-ready teaching resource is all about water in New Plymouth District and links to the New Zealand curriculum, providing an authentic learning opportunity for students, individuals and communities.

Now is a great time to start thinking about water projects you could do with your class or school, with the assistance of NPDC’s Three Waters Educator.
