My passion for the community of Waitara is deeply rooted in a respect for our whenua, our people, and our shared heritage.
Waitara is more than just a town - it is a place of whakapapa, wairua, and resilience. I feel a strong sense of duty to honour the legacy of our ancestors while helping to shape a future that uplifts all members of our community.
Our stories are vital and deserve to be protected and celebrated. I am committed to supporting kaupapa that empower our young people strengthen community connections, and promote cultural pride.
Whether through community projects, education, or simply being present and engaged, I strive to contribute positively and with integrity. Waitara has given me identity and purpose, and I carry that with aroha and responsibility.
