My name is Angie Benn, my husband Peter and I live in Lepperton with our 4 children. Both Peter and I are focused on supporting our community in various capacities and appreciate the amazing location we live in.
My passion for people and travel lead me to an early career in aviation. Subsequent career roles include; project management, tertiary private training provider environments, horticulture and volunteer work. The diversity in roles have supported my growth and developed with the guidance of accomplished and inspiring leaders.
My recent focus has been in community work. My advocacy work for Lepperton Residents Association has given me the opportunity to closely work with Waitara Community Board and local council for over 6 years. I have a knowledge of processes, protocol, council personal and the need for advocacy between community and council. My focus will be supporting a safe and healthy Waitara and Rural Community.
