As an uri of Taranaki Maunga, a māmā, and a staunch advocate of kaupapa Māori I am standing again to represent us. I believe as a people we have much to contribute, and I celebrate the ongoing resurgence of our presence in our rohe.
I’m approachable, I’m community driven and you’ll see me in many different roles whether it be leading in the front or serving in the background. Land back, Te Tiriti representation and affordable housing are my core aspirations for our people. I look to our ancestors for guidance in decisions that will impact our tamariki and mokopuna who will be the leaders of tomorrow.
As your first wahine Māori councillor I will continue to be a strong advocate for whānau, hapū and iwi.
