We’ve drafted a district-wide Emissions Reduction Plan that aims for a greener, cleaner future for our kids, but are we on the right track?

Feedback on our 10-Year Plan in 2021 showed that 60% of residents either supported our climate action work or wanted us to do more. Tell us what you want to know and what you think.

It’s time to have your say on the draft district-wide Emissions Reduction Plan and how we can tackle our emissions as a district.

The draft plan looks at how NPDC can help the community to lower their emissions through:

Advocacy and education
Planning and infrastructure
Delivering low emissions options
Tackling our organisational emissions

Tell us what you think here or join one of Zui sessions where you can speak with council staff direct:

Do we have the balance right with our planned climate action, or would you like us to do more?
How could NPDC support the community to lower their emissions?
